Following the IMYC, this year in 7th grade during the first bimester we will be studying Brainwave and how the science behind brain development impacts learning and the unique development that occurs within the teenage brain. Then we will learn all about the scientific method and the importance of using a structured, documented methodology in science to observe and record experiments and data. In our unit on Adaptability, we will explore how the ability to change, alter or cope with new environments has lead some species to not only survive, but thrive on earth, even in the most remote and unusual places.
I love science because it provides a hands-on, discovery form of learning and I am hoping to provide students with a lot of practical experience.
This course will be taught in English.
I look forward to learning with you all this year.
